We often go through life blindly, just taking care of the business that we have to on a day to day basis. How often do we stop and think about what we really want to do? Then, go even further to make plans to do what we want to do? Well, most of us don’t really have time to live the life we desire. We scurry through the current day with barely enough time to do what needs to get done.
The usual AH HA! moment comes for most of us when there is some life shocking event that takes place. For instance, the death of a loved one, a near death accident, the firing from a job, a divorce. Usually, it takes life to stop us to get us on the track we want to be on. This often takes place when we are older, 40s, 50s, and even 60s. Most of us have lived half of our lives before we really begin living. It shouldn’t be this way.
When we are young we are told to go to school, get good grades, get a good job, get a car, get a spouse, buy a house, have kids, and work hard to pay for all of these “things” and then retire. Most of us live our lives wishing for today to hurry by and for tomorrow to come, and then to the weekend, and then the next holiday, and then the next vacation. We really live wishing our lives away!!!! That really makes no sense-when you think about it. It’s a sad state of mind that millions upon millions live in. Where did we go wrong?
We will discuss that in the next post. But until then, think about your life. Where are you now and where do you want to be? I mean really think about it. Look forward to meeting up with you on the next posting.
